English 9 and Honors English

Daily Vocab: Ambiguity – an element of uncertainty in a text, in which something can be interpreted in a number of different ways

Satire– type of writing that ridicules something—a person, a group of people, humanity at large, an attitude or failing, a social institution—in order to reveal a weakness

Day 2 in the Computer Lab – Keep working! You were awesome yesterday! Remember to follow all the rules of research; CITE EVERYTHING! Evaluate sources, and use internal citations where appropriate.

Use bullet points rather than complete sentences; you don’t want to read slides to the class when presenting.

Use a font size your audience can actually see.

ASK for HELP if you need it!

Make a plan for those who will be gone and here tomorrow.
